On the 13th day of November 1976, under the leadership of the Iota Gamma Chapter of Rust College, the light known as the Tau Eta Chapter was ignited. The Chapter was founded by six (6) lovely ladies who thought the University was in need of a Sorority that promoted the goals of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love,  and Finer Womanhood.
